This office chair is a favorite and was brought in to reupholster. It is about 20 years old and was too far gone to restore the leather with our reconditioning process.The customer chose a beautiful Italian upholstery leather, not only soft and supple but also very durable and luxurious.

The cost for the leather was $20 per square foot, the average upholstery skins are around 50 square feet. So the material was $1000.00. This is quite high but they wanted something a little special. The normal cost for leather per skin is around $500.00

Labour cost ran $2000.00 in this case and included a total restuffing of all internal pading, which helped to restructure the shape as it has started to sag over the years.
